Rio Dulce

Rio Dulce connects Lake Izabal with Guatemala's Caribbean coast. It emerges as a steep-walled gorge, the walls of which are covered with lush jungle vegetation. A variety of birds can be found there and on the small islands or in the lagoons and the hot waterfall of Finca El Paraiso is delightful.
